How to automatically set 'Resolution' when a Jira issue status is moved to 'Done'?

I am experiencing an issue with my Jira project workflow that is affecting my reports.

I expect that when an issue's status transitions to "Done," the resolution field should be automatically set to "Done" (or "Fixed," etc.).

Impact: This discrepancy is causing inaccuracies in our reports and dashboards (e.g., JQL searches for resolution = Unresolved incorrectly include items that are already completed).

Question: How can I modify the project's workflow to ensure that the resolution field is properly set automatically during the transition to the "Done" status?

You can easily set the Resolution value directly in the workflow:

Go to relevant workflow (admin -> workflows)
Edit the desired workflow.
Select the transition (e.g., Done) and open the post functions rules.
Select "Update issue field" and set the Resolution value.

In my rule Page I dont have this field "Update an issue field" , instead i have this.

Select "Update issue field" and set the Resolution value.

Select "Update a request field" and then set Resolution = Done.

@Tansu Akdeniz This field don't show us this resolution field.
