Automations not showing correct categories

Question

I'm creating an automation as seen in the screenshot below. My goal is to:

* Create a new task with corresponding subtask & checklist
* Organize the task within a designated Category

However, when I select the "Category" field in Automations, the dropdown shows different values than what appears in my Lists/Boards.

When I choose a random Category to test, it also gives an error saying the Category can't be found.

Interesting, thanks for the context. Do you have any ideas for workarounds? Is there any way to use automations to organize a task into a Category field?

Hi Gabriel,

That Category field is the project Category, not the Category field used in Business projects. That field is not available for use in Automation rules.
