Hi, if I move a ticket to a different project, does the Created date keep the original created date or does it reset when its moved to the new project? I'm hoping it keeps it and shows updated date for when it was moved. Thanks.

When you move a ticket from one project to another, created date remains intact, doesnt get reset. Project key gets updated.

create date is kept. Moving the item is merely an update of Key and Project. Both are attributes of the item, and will appear in the history. In case a change of the type and/ or the Workflow is included, they too will appear in the history. You will even find the ticket searching for the old key. Jira persists the old key info for the ticket.
