How to link two objects in Jira Service Management (Assets)

Hello ,

When I open an object, I can see the “Linked objects” section, but it is always empty and I don’t have any option to create or select a link.

My goal is to link two objects together (for example, linking a device to another related object).
Could someone explain what configuration or permissions are required to enable object linking?

Display the link between two objects in both objec... it explains how to link objects, basically

 

• Open the Object Type where you want the link (e.g., Device).
• Go to Attributes → Add attribute.
• Set Type = Object and choose the target Object Type (e.g., Related Device or User).
• Save the attribute.
