JIRA-Slack integration

Question

Hello Team ,

Need information regarding JIRA - Slack integration wherein if we put a comment in Slack , the comment is automatically added in JIRA ( If we can also have selective messages added and not all of it ) . If you have any guide , please share . Thanks

Hello,

Welcome to Community :)

We would like to inform you that when you click on Add to Issue the comment does not get added as a regular comment, they will be shown on the Right-hand panel under Slack Open Issue Activity

feature Request that talks about adding these messages as a regular comment to the issue.
More details can be found here:

* API-113: Slack messages should be added in Jira as regular comments, not in a separate section

More details : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/use-jira-cloud-for-slack/#:~:text=Interact%20with%20work%20items%20from%20Slack

Thank You,

Prachi
