Disabling editing/modifying/updating a custom field for a work type

Hi Team,
I want a specific custom field not to be editable for a work type in jira cloud.

I tried to configure different screens/schemes to handle seperate create/edit/view work type operations but still this field can be editable.

 

Is there any way to achieve this using existing screen/scheme or field/scheme configurations ?

I know this can be acheived via automation rules or third party plugins. Would like to know if this can be achieved using existing screen/scheme or field/scheme configurations ?

@MAHAMMAD AZEEM  As you mentioned, if the Custom field is not added/presenst on the Edit item oprtaions then yes the users wont be able to edit that.

Could you please share the custom field name and confirm that the custom field is not present on the edit screen of that perticular work item.
