contributions macro - comments not counting correctly?

I use the contributions macro as a form of leaderboard. I've included one for comments, with the space setting set to 'global'.

The list is only 4 users long, which can be correct but I have a coworker who also made a comment and is not included in this list.

Anyone can help?

This seems to be a known bug: [CONFCLOUD-78412] Using the contributors macro in large confluence spaces with over 250 pages causes inaccurate contribution tracking - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

I haven't used this macro myself, but my first thought is that maybe this is affected by whether the comment has been resolved or deleted. It doesn't say anything about this on the documentation page for the macro (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-contributors-macro/), but you could easily test this out on a page.

Otherwise, maybe one of the other many parameters for the macro is set in such a way that it affects the output. For example, even though you've set the Spaces parameter to @global, maybe the Page Name or Labels parameter is not blank.

The comment in question is active and not set to archived, resolved or etc

@Arne Vandenbussche I presume that max amount is the Maximum Number of Contributors parameter? Have you tried leaving this blank?

My only other suggestion is to set the Spaces parameter to the Space that you know the user commented on or try @all instead of @global. Looking at the documentation, I'm not sure what the difference between these 2 options is, but maybe this would change your results.

I tried leaving it blank, still not showing up. Also changed the parameter for space and the user is also not showing.
