We have a internal tool where tickets created in our tool can be pushed to Jira and the same ticket will be created in Jira which is successfully working. We are able to change the status but we are not receiving any response from Jira api as an acknowledgement. It is only giving the error response only if somebody misses to input a value to a mandatory field while transitioning.
A user who is changing the status in our internal tool will not have a confirmation that the status updated successfully in jira as well.
