i have a projected added in jira, i wanted create a customised dashboard. which indicates number of test cases tested, passed and failed. im able to created dashboard using inbuilt gadgets in jira where im not able to give input data for my customized dashboard. help me to create one

Are test cases and test results stored in Jira? Jira, by default, does not provide testing functionality, so you most likely have a plugin that brings testing functionality to Jira. An option would be to identify which Jira plugin do you have for testing, and then contact the vendor of that plugin for guidance on how to generate testing in a Jira dashboard.

Also, if the native Jira dashboard gadgets like Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget or Issue Statistics gadget do not help, you could look for additional gadgets offered by other plugins on Atlassian Marketplace.

If you consider the option of using a plugin, you might be able to generate such stats by using the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets plugin if the tests and their results are stored in Jira as issues. I have a project page where we create tickets for our tasks, we only raise tickets for the software releases and close it when the validation is completed. Now i need to create a dashboard were i can get every details about the releases like the bugs found, failed cases in that release. but those data are not in the sprint. i want to give those data manually and want to create dashboard. please help me with this.

What solution is this, and is this integrated in Jira and has this solution provided information that can be used in dashboard gadgets or provides its own gadgets?
