Delete Work Item Links Immediately Just After Cloning the Work Item via Jira Rule in Jira Cloud?

Hi Community,

My use-case is:

When a user clones a work item to another, "is cloned by" and "clones" are appearing on work items.

I want that as soon as a work item is created/ cloned, jira automation rule should automatically delete the work item links ("is cloned by" and "clones") present on both the work items.

Please provide a sample jira rule configuration via step-by-step process or any screenshots, it will be a great help.

Do you have experience with creating Automation Rules?

If not I recommend that you take advantage of the free, on-demand training available for that topic through the Learning link at the top of the Community pages.

Have you tried to construct this rule? If so, provide screen images of what you have so far, and tell us about the part you are having difficulty figuring out.

The starting point would be to use the Issue Linked trigger.

That could be followed by the Delete Links action, specifying that the Clones links be deleted.
