Use Ask AI like a chatbot

Hi everyone,

We've been testing the new Ask AI feature in Confluence and noticed something:

• You can ask a question.

• The AI provides an answer.

• But it doesn’t seem possible to continue the conversation or give a follow-up input directly on that answer (like you would with a chatbot).

Is this limitation by design?
Are there any plans to allow a more conversational flow with the AI in the future, or is there another way to achieve this with existing features?

Yeah... AI search in Confluence is just that. Smart search and answers based on your query (you could correlate this with Google or other search bars, which now give AI answers).

I'd recommend checking out Rovo, which now comes for free with Atlassian apps. With that, you can use Rovo Chat component, which is what I believe you're looking for.
