How to display a custom field on Kanban cards in Jira Work Management?

I'm trying to display a custom field (e.g. "Responsable du Ticket") directly on the cards of my Kanban board in Jira Work Management.

I came across this official documentation (see attached screenshot), which explains that you can display up to three additional fields on cards by going to:

More actions (•••) > Configure cards > Add a field

However:

• I don’t see the “Configure cards” option in my board settings.

• I’m a project administrator.

• The field is already used in tickets on the board.

Can it be enabled in Jira Work Management boards?

within the project, navigate to the board where you want to do this change.
View settings > Customize cards (see the image below)

If this doesn't work for you, could you give us more details, about the project, is it really work management project, maybe a screenshot of the board and options you see.
