I would like to automatically add default text to the Defect issue type.
However, I cannot select the Defect component and enter the text. Please share how to enter default text.

Hi @남태식(Tae-Sik Nam)  and welcome to the community.

You can use a automation to add headings in the description field. I will not populate the headings upon creation but will add the information immediately after (this is because the rule is triggered by the "Create issue".

It isn't possible to set a default text for a workype. You can:

* Set a default text for a custom field, through custom field configuration 
* Create an automation that fill automatically a field when a work type is created.
