Unable to install an APP even though I am ADMIN and the App would be FREE for my license

Question

I have tried to install:

https://MYDOMAIN.atlassian.net/jira/marketplace/discover/app/com.stonikbyte.great.gadgets.plugin

1.  I am the Domain Admin

2. My domain has less than 10 users

3. I have been able to install OTHER "Free to use for <10 person team" apps.

Has anyone else encountered this? Even with a different app?

I've communicated with the App supplier, but their recommendation was to open a support ticket, yet not having a 1:1 ticket support account, I'm asking the community to leverage the power of their collective experience/knowledge.

Any ideas??

After opening a ticket with Atlassian Support, it was confirmed that this issue was caused by a problem in the Atlassian subscription workflow.

In this case, the app subscription was marked as EXPIRED, which was not expected given that the app is free with the Jira Free plan (<10 users). However, since another app that is not free for <10 users was installed and no payment details were provided, the system blocked the workflow and left the app in question in an EXPIRED state.

In conclusion, errors like this can occur due to issues in the Atlassian subscription workflow. The solution is to open a ticket with Atlassian Sales Support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/) so they can investigate and resolve the problem.

I don't think this is an issue with the app itself, @Danut M _StonikByte_ .....

I was able to install OTHER apps, which is what made this weird.

That's much appreciated, because I cannot try @Danut M _StonikByte_ 's suggestion because my instance is on the FREE plan, and so one is defaulted to asking the community.
