When creating a new work item, is it possible to change the Work Type dropdown order?

When creating a new work item, and you select the "Work Type", is it possible to change the order of the work types? It seems they are in creation order, but I would like to make it a priority order. Is this possible?

In the example below, I want to move KB Feedback higher up in the Work Type order.

In the Jira page, if you go to Issue Types Scheme under Issues > Issue Type Schemes,
and edit your project's scheme, you can rearrange the items.

They will then be displayed in the order you set.

Hi @Chris Annicella and welcome to the Community!

In a company managed project, in a test I've run I see the order in which the work types are listed in your projects work type scheme is respected. With one exception: Jira remembers the last work type you created and puts that at the top of the list. But apart from that: a jira admin can reorder the list in the work type scheme.

For team managed projects, I see more mystery. In project settings its seems the work types are displayed alphabetically, but when I hit the create button and select a project, I see the work types listed in exactly the opposite order. I am not aware of a setting to change that order over there.
