Get Asset Attribute using smart values

Question

Hi All

I am using JSM Data Centre
I dont have script-runner

I have a custom field for assets customfield_100
which contains an asset with text attributes 
Key
Name
Serial

I can create an issue and retreive the Key using
{{issue.customfield_100.Key}}

This works fine

However I cannot get the Name, or Serial Number values

On a slight side note, I understand (probably incorrectly) that 
you can do a lookupassets query, but I cannot get this to work

{{LookupAssets(Key={{issue.customfield_100.Key}}).Name}}

This looks logical to me but doesnt work, and Im not  sure if it would even help with the above

Hello @Junka ,

When you have the object's ID using the custom field, you can use automations to perform a Lookup Objects and search for that specific object. Once you have the object in the automation, you can retrieve any attribute using {{lookupObjects.attribute}}.
