Is there anywhere to change the Description type so formatting is easier?

Hi @Lee Street !

Can you give some context?

Maybe you ask about the Wiki кenderer option in Field Configuration, which allows use of Confluence-style wiki markup in Jira fields?

Thanks for your reply

When I create a Story the Description field has NO formatting. So, I'm unable to add images, Links etc

@Lee Street, ok. In this case solution on my previous comment is correct.
Just open Field configuration of your project and check wiki-render checkbox for Description field
