How to Limit the available link types for "Linked work items" for my project?

Question

Coming from Jira Datacenter, we used to restrict the available link types for our project.

Now, in Jira Cloud there's "Linked work items", and I cannot seem to find where I can define the set of available link types for my project.

Question: How can I specify a certain subset of (the globally configured) work item link types so that for work items in my project Jira only lists _my_ link types instead of all that are known in the Jira instance.

I don't think it is supported in Jira Cloud as of today, and here is the suggestion ticket for this request that I found for Jira Cloud:

That feature is not currently available. There is a featrure request for it that you can track here:

However, Atlassian indicated in September last year that it does not have any immediate plans to do something about it. The request does mention a couple of workarounds using marketplace apps.
