how to delete a impediment in Jira align..Tried deleteing and updating but not working

Hi Shikha - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

How are you trying to update it or delete it? The Impediment is just a value for the Flagged field. So you need to update the Flagged field to clear the impediment.
