Personal whiteboard -- how come editors can't leave comments

Question

A colleague shared a whiteboard with me, but I can't leave comments on their board. I have Edit permissions and I can see in the floating right-side nav the 'Comment' icon. When I click on it, it says, 'Click anywhere to leave a comment.' However this isn't true, I don't get an option to leave a comment anywhere.

Hi @Tad Blake-Weber

Inspect Permissions is to check if a user has certain permissions., based on the drop down, you can differentiate in the permission check.

This s not setting permissions for a user.

To set permissions on a space, you need to be space admin.

Hi Marc,

I think I found the issue and it looks like a bug where the permissions I set don't stick.

* I click share
* then click the  horizontal 3-dot button
* Click inspect permissions
* I type in the user who I want to allow commenting
* change permissions to v'iew and comment'
* I see green check mark
* I come back and do it again, but the changes haven't stuck

In my GIF here, I try it a couple times.

I believe so. But just so I'm on the same page can you provide a screenshot?
