Why can't I see a project when importing test cases via XRay, .csv file

Question

I am attempting to import test cases to xray, from a .csv file.  Unfortunately it does not show any projects for me to import into.

I did see this related question, but I've checked and I already have "Create Issue" permission.

One more strange thing: If I attempt to import via a JSON file, I *do* see my project.  Just not from a .csv file.  See screenshots below.  I'm pretty sure that I need to import via .csv file, because importing from a JSON file does not allow me to map csv fields to jira fields.

Any ideas as to how to get past this?

Welcome to the community!

I suspect the issue you’re encountering is that the project you’re trying to select doesn’t have Xray configured.

Please check if, under Project Settings > Apps > Xray Settings > Summary, you see a message indicating that you need to add Xray issue types. If so, add them.

Give it another try, and the issue should be resolved.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure that I'm already an admin in the project.

One thing to try and see if it helps is to be added as project admin in the project you are importing to, we have a team that is doing csv imports and the user is added as admin and have no issues doing the import. If that does not help I would contact Xblend support and they should be able to help you.
