Notifying Form Submitter that ticket has been received

Question

Hi there, I'm trying to create an automation that notifies the user via email whenever someone submits a request using our Jira form, indicating that the ticket has been received.

I have the form set to Global because not everyone I work with has a Jira account, but I do have a field in my form called "Email Address".

I am not familiar with team-managed JSM projects. That sounds painful to me. I don't know how advanced forms behave with that animal. Sorry

This is team-managed. I have the automation enabled, but when someone submits through my Jira form, it is not triggered. No errors.

What do you mean by it doesn't work? It doesn't run? It runs be has an error? It runs with no error but doesn't send the email? It runs but something else?

Also, what type of project is this? Team-managed? Company-managed?
