can a viewer role allow to add attachments?

permissions are managed in the Permission schemes. Adding attachments is a seperate permission that can be assigned to any project role, user, group etc.
So you could edit the project's permission scheme (or create a new) where you grant the "Viewer" role this specific permission.

Hello @chote babu Welcome to the Community!!A viewer can be granted permission via the Permission scheme associated with the projectIf all viewer should be granted permission, then 'ADD Attachment' permission can be granted to the role; if selected users, then you may need to have the ROLE added to the above permission and add selected users to the role of project; anyhow #2 option isn't good in terms of management.
