Hello, I have 3 boards but some reason 2 of them work fine and 1 doesn't. I am simply trying to create an epic but it doesn't seem to be appearing in the Epic panel view after i create it. After I click 'create epic', it appears but then when I refresh the page it's gone again. To be clear, when I say gone it looks like the original picture (above) where there are no epics. But then, when I go to list View it appears in there.

nav[aria-label="Primary Navigation"] { padding: 0; & ul { list-style: none; width: 100%; display: flex; flex-direction: row; justify-content: start; align-items: start; gap: 30px; padding: 0; & li { margin: 0; } & ul li { list-style: none; } } }

Epics do not appear after creating in backlog

Hey @Tash Tan

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

From the screenshots above, I noticed you're working on a team-managed project.

This behaviour usually occurs when you rename a project key and delete the original one, because it's filter still uses the old project key. If my suspicion is correct, you should see the error when you access the board's timeline: "The Board is misconfigured".

This is a bug reported here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-91439

You may follow the workaround suggested in this bug.

Thanks!

Hi @Tash Tan , I am guessing you are using a Company Managed Project? It could be the board setting that are excluding epics. Can you click on the ellipses, select Board configuration and check the filter and subfilter. Feel free to share here.

Hi @Tash Tan

Welcome to the community, happy to have you here. Could you please double check the board setting and see if there is a filter that could cause your epic not showing up.

You should be able to access it through the ... button on the top right of the board.

Hope it helps.

Hello, I am on a 'Software project' - Team managed. Based on this, where do I find board settings - I can see 'Project settings' which then gives me this:

Hello, please see response to Jack with screenshot.

I am uncertain where to go from here:

Hi @Tash Tan

I tried to replicate the issue on your end by creating a new "Software-Project" with Team managed.

However, I'm not able to replicate the issue successfully. If you tried to access it using a different browser, is the issue persist? Maybe it is an cache issue within the browser?

I also saw another customer experiencing the same issue recently here.

BOOM, FIXED.

Writing a response here so it's clear what fixed it.

Went to 'Timeline' page
Clicked 'Fix my timeline'

Hi @Tash Tan, did you enter your previous project key to solve your issue here? were you able to solve the timeline issue with this?

What about your issue related to epic panel? Was that resolved when reverting to old project key?

Tash Tan_rp3plu

Yes, everything was resolved when following @Karan Sachdev advice!
