Update the status of Jira workitem based on a Zephyr test case status transition

Hi,

I am looking to update a Jira workitem that has links to Zephyr test cases based on the test case status. i.e. when a test case transitions to in-progress then the associated linked Jira workitem should also transition to In-Progress.

I am trying to do this with the automation rules in Jira.

Any help or guidance?  Does this even work?

Hi,

Sadly, this is not possible.  Zephyr is not exposed to Jira automation - the traceability tabs in which the test cases would appear are not visible to Jira Automation.
