Attached Form from Work Item to subtasks

Hi,

 

English is not my Native language, so apologies if the problem isn't clear enough.

I have build a form for users to use on the Portal. When they make a request the Form is attached to the Work Item.
Is there a way that the Form added to the Work Item, to be copied to the automatic created subtasks?

I tried the "Copy forms" within the automation but i cant seem to make it work. Is there an manual or such on how to copy the Form from the Work Issue to the Sub-Tasks?

Welcome to the community.

Yes this can be done, but it requires a second rule, this can't be done in a sngle rule.

So create a new rule, make sure the option is checked that another rule can trigger this rule.

1. Trigger: Work item/Issue type created
2. Action: Delay for 30 seconds
3. Condition: Work Item/Issue type equals "sub-task"
4. Condition: as you require, but could be based on the request type
5. Action: Copy forms, choose the form to copy, make sure to copy from parent item.
