iOS Shortcut "Run JQL" never returns results

On iOS Shortcuts, the Run JQL action never returns results, even with very basic queries:

 

 

 

 

I've verified that other Shortcut actions work like "View Issue in Jira".

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Jira iOS app.

 

My goal with this shortcut is to automate the process of adding Jira tasks to my iOS Reminders app. I do this because I have better Watch, Widget, and Siri integration with Reminders than I do with Jira.

 

This previously worked but stopped within the last few months.

Thanks for reaching out! The "Run JQL" action had to be changed recently to a more modern API. As part of this, the return value of the action has changed from a list of issues to a more complex value. The action now returns multiple different pieces of data:

• The list of issues that matched the JQL
• The token for the next page that can be used to load more issues (by setting the "Next page token" parameter in the "Run JQL" action)

In Shortcuts, you can select which of the values you want to use by tapping on the return value of the action and either select "Issues" or "Next page token":
