Time to Resolution by Assignee in Dashboard or JSM Report

We have a business use case to create a chart that shows each assignee in a project, how many issues they have been assigned, how many have been resolved, and what the average time to resolution is for each person. I'm able to use a built-in widget to report on assignees by created vs resolved, but I am struggling to report on the average time to resolution - I can do it across all issues, but not break it down by assignee.

I keep seeing community posts where the only way around this is with an add-on, but I cannot pay for an add-on at this time. Is there any other way to surface this data?

With the default gadgets this is hard to do. You could use the Average Age Chart, but that would mean that you have to have one for each assignee and a filter for each one. If you have access to Analytics you could create a dashboard there to show this data. Another option is JavaScript Chart From Atlassian Labs, just note that it is provided as is and there is no support provided for the app.

Unfortunately, Jira doesn't currently offer a built-in way to show Time to Resolution by Assignee directly on the dashboard or in a standard JSM report.

I was leaning toward the average age chart for each assignee since I don't need to include very many in our dashboard, but was hoping there was something more consolidated. We don't have Analytics sadly. I'll take a look at the Javascript Chart. Thank you!

I'm afraid that the Jira's native gadgets are limited and they cannot display such info. My advice is to try looking for an app on Atlassian Marketplace.

In case you decide to try an app, our Great Gadgets app offers some useful gadgets for you needs.

Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget - can display number of issues completes vs not completed, or percentages. The data can be split by assignee or any other fields and can be displayed in form of table, heatmap table or charts of various types.

Time in Status gadget - can split assignee and can display the average time in statuses. This can be achieved by configuring the gadget to display the average time in in-progress and to-do status categories (so all except done), or y selecting specific statuses from your workflow.
