Confluence table filter - issue with date filter

Hi,

I am using Jira issues macro inside Table filter and have issue to properly filter table. Date format in Jira is like 08/Apr/25 . I am not sure what date format to use in the filter in order properly do filtering. I tried also with Table Transform, but result is the same.

In a dropdown filter of a macro I am not able to recognize this date format. Probably I missed something but need your help on how to set this right.

Have you adjusted the date format when setting the Date range filter? Your filter shows 5/17/25 that is m/d/y and the format in your table is 18/Apr/25 that is dd/M/y.

It seems to me that there is no corresponding date format in filter macro for the one used in Jira: e.g. 08/Apr/25. Am I right?

If that's true, is there a way to transform it? I can also use Table Transformer.

When you add the Date filter to the column, it prompts to type in the required Date format. As you have dd/M/y format in the original table, you should enter this format in the field.

if you're open to a different setup, another option could be Simple Table.

It works well when the source is a native Confluence table, or when the data can be imported from CSV, Excel, or JSON. From there, you can make the table easier to work with using features like search, grouping, hidden columns, column reordering, and exports.

That said, I have not been able to verify a direct replacement for filtering a live Jira work items macro with a dedicated date-range filter. For that specific scenario, using the Jira macro with the right JQL or matching date format still looks like the more direct solution.

So I’d position Simple Table as an alternative workflow, rather than a drop-in replacement in this exact case.
