[JMWE] Copy Field post-function APPEND?

Question

Hello all,

I am configuring a workflow so that on transition a custom field value is copied from the transitioning issue to linked issues of "implements" with the same custom field.

Normally this would be easy with the built in JMWE function, but I have been tasked to see if we can account for if the destination field is not empty, is it possible to append instead of replacing.

I did not see this option when looking at the existing copy jmwe function, so I am thinking I may need to build my own post function, and any guidance with Nunjucks would be really appreciated!

Hi Pasam,

After further research, it looks that JMWE copy field post function will only allow append action if the field is a multi-select type.

I appreciate your help, and hopefully this info proves useful to you too!
