Work Advice w/ Permission Schemes

Question

I am trying to implement a JIRA Workflow that limits the transitions to certain groups. Ultimately, I want only my Developers Group to be able to Resolve/Fix an Issue. When that action occurs, I want my Consultants Group to then be the only group to either Test-Close the issue or Test-Reopen the issue.

Also you can restric only Consultant group can close an issue in Permssion scheme. That way only the people from that group can close and re-open an issue.

Hi Rob,

You should be able to set a condition on that workflow, where the user must be in a certain group to perform that.  You can check out the Advanced Workflow Config docs for details.
