Unable to find JQL function 'structure()'.

We have the tempo structure app, but whenever I try to do a JQL query in filters or scriptrunner of

issue in structure("NameOfMyStructure") nothing is returned and I get the error

Unable to find JQL function 'structure("NameOfMyStructure")'.

What do we need to do to get this enabled, or what could be causing the errors?

Can you provide a link to the reference material that indicated to you that there should be a "structure()" function available in JQL?

That documentation is for Structure on Jira Data Center, as indicated by the "DC" suffix.

Your post tags indicate you are using a Premium subscription of Jira Cloud.

Are you using Jira DC or Jira Cloud? If you are not sure, click on the Help icon near your avatar in the upper right corner of Jira, and select About, and share with us what it says there for the application version.

Looking more deeply at the documentation for Structure(DC) I see that it states that Structured JQL (or S-JQL) can be used in the structure() function in JQL filters.

However in the Feature Parity document comparing Structure(DC) to Structure(Cloud) S-JQL is not supported. That leads me to the conclusion that the structure() JQL function is not supported in Jira Cloud/Structure(Cloud).
