Can we backdate time logged?

In some cases, Jira user want to backdate time logged but I have no idea how to do this setting. please give me instruction.

After entering the amount of time in the Time Spent another field should appear named Date started that allows the user to specify the date and time at which that work started.

Yes you can Edit/delete the Time tracking values under activity "worklog" refer the image
