XRay - How to set test cases for execution as "won't do" or "NA"

Question

Hi All.

Due to changes in functionality, some test cases will not be executed, I'd like to set some test cases as "won't do" or "NA" because they're not needed but I find only these options:

- Passed

- To do

- Executing

A workaround could be removing the test cases but I don't like to do it in this way.

Besides the option that @Laurie Sciutti gave, you can also deal with it using workflows and signal that on the workflow status of the  Test issues.

See some possible usage scenarios here.

Then you can control if Tests in these *workflow statuses* are not allowed for example to be executed (see related workflow configuration options).

I would try to avoid to use custom test run states for this purpose; workflow statuses are more appropriate because you want to signal something about the Test case itself.. not about their runs.

Hello @Jorge Mendoza and welcome!  You can create a custom test status:  Jira Settings > Apps > Xray > Test Statuses
