Enhancement Request: Unsaved changes to ticket description

Question

Currently when you make changes to a ticket Description field, the changes are not saved automatically until you click the Save button. I get why that is, but the UI doesn't make it very obvious that you have unsaved changes other than some small text "Unsaved changes" that gets lost next to the Description field.

Can you highlight the "Unsaved changes" text as yellow or something more obvious? This catches us so many times I have lost count.

Hi @Michelle Wilson I took a quick look at Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't see anything specific to this request.  I did happen to find JRACLOUD-74735 which may or may not work for you.  If it does, I'd suggest voting for and watching it for future updates.

If that won't work for you, I would suggest creating this suggestion out there, as I would guess that has greater visibility to Atlassian's Product Mgmt & Developers for possible inclusion in the product.
