I can't believe there isn't a way to do this.

I made a mistake and clicked the invitation, thinking there would be a final confirmation (since in the email you don't even mention which is the org)...

Instead I found myself in and I cannot leave.

Please address this.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Many people have asked for this to be addressed. So far it has not.

It is not possible to self-remove your access to an Atlassian Cloud product such as Jira. This would be counter-productive to businesses where the employees are required to use Jira.

To end your access to an Atlassian Cloud product that is owned by somebody else you will need to ask those owners to remove your access to the product. Even Atlassian Support will not remove your access to a product.

I honestly don’t understand why bothering to reply with dead old information we already know.

If it’s a problem for businesses, the option should be removed where the org is the one associated with a certain domain.

But you got to admit that the inability to prevent my own data to be seen from people of some random org, is crazy.

Might even be illegal.
You’re basically forcing me to share my email with a bunch of strangers.

Has anyone ever checked how lawyers see this as a privacy issue?

Please keep in mind that this is a community of users of the Atlassian products. If you want to speak directly with Atlassian representatives, this is not the best venue.

You chose to click the buttons to accept the invitation. No body forced you to respond. Did you execute due diligence to validate the invitation? Was it an invitation you expected to receive? Did you receive an alternate communication from anybody in a position of knowledgeable authority that the invitation was legitimate and there was a known reason for you to accept it?

If you believe that the Atlassian product to which you were invited is being operated by bad actors trying to obtain contact info for nefarious reasons, you can report that to Atlassian by contacting https://www.atlassian.com/trust/report-abuse

- You've posted the question on a "Community" forum, this isn't the right place to look for Atlassian Support if that is what your were getting at. People responding to questions here are all Atlassian product users like you and me. Most responses are aimed at trying to get you the best information in their own capacity. :-)

- If they were able to send you an invite that means your email was already out. Would highly recommend using the https://www.atlassian.com/trust/report-abuse if you're certain that the Org is trying to scam your info for some "not good" reasons. Also, as good practice inform your company's InfoSec team about your email leak so that they can get ahead of this if the Invite was from a bad actor.
