Why are some stories not group under Epics in my plan?

Question

I am trying to create a plan that show the work our three teams are doing in the same project. I set the source data to be the three team's boards. The problem I have is that many of the stories in the timeline view are not group with their parent epics.

How can I get all the stories to be organized upder their epics so it is easier to see?

@Brian Woodworth ,

I can`t see the epic ESS-15844 listed in your plan. I think its out of your defined scope of the plan and therefore the story cannot be displayed under this epic.

Hi @Brian Woodworth -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Are those Stories children of Epics which are not part plan's selected issues, even though the Stories are selected?

Kind regards,
Bill

Brian Woodworth · Answer

Most of the stories all have parent epics
