New dashboard - how to add specific users and their tickets

Hi, Im new to Jira.

I've created a new Jira dashboard - i want to add all the tickets created by specific users in this new dashboard in order to monitor work.

How do I add/select specific users in order to monitor all the tickets that they may have created?

HI, thanks for the quick response. so i created a new filter, and named it accordingly, i then added my teams users to it.

I then selected this new filter I created to my new dashboard.. so far so good ;)

Answering your question, in order to see all tickets created by specific users in your new dashboard, first, you need to create a new filter with JQL syntax like below by following this article1 and article2.

creator in (user1, user2)

You can modify the JQL as per your requirement.

Next, the simplest way to see all the tickets in your dashboard is to use "Filter Results" gadget and then selecting your newly created filter in that.

This will give you a list representation of all the tickets created by users you have mentioned in the filter. And in the gadget, you can also configure columns(fields) related to these tickets.
