Cannot view Epics in Backlog (team-managed project)

Question

We are working on a Kanban team-managed project in Jira. In the backlog view, I cannot see epics in the epic panel (even when I create one via the epic panel, upon refreshing the page it disappears).

I also cannot see the epic in the backlog list view -- only after I've clicked into the detail of the ticket does it show up in the list view. After I refresh the page, the epic is gone again.

I've checked all our filters; we don't have a custom epic type; I cannot go to any 'Board' settings.

Any help appreciated!

Hi @Trudy P Claspill unfortunately, not; the project appears to have had a bug. A colleague created a new (identical) project type for me, and the issue did not come up again.
