As documented here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/symbols-emojis-and-special-characters-136870.html
typing "(*)" should result in a yellow star icon. That worked until last week (or possibly the week before). It now results in "(" followed by a winking-face icon.
In addition, "(*y)" should also result in a yellow star icon, but it now results in a brownish star icon. The other colored stars, such as "(*g)" are showing the correct icon.
How can I get the previous behavior back? That was a frequently-used feature for me.
Hi @Chris Merrill
You link to the documentation is based on server/DC (on-prem installations).
Cloud uses colon to insert an emoji ( -> yellow star).
Are you on Cloud or DC?
We are using cloud. This changed in the past 2 weeks?
i might be you had some pages that where using the old Confluence editor.
This has been there for more then a year now, but you can't create new pages anymore using the old editor.
This has changes since October 2024.
It looks like you're new here. Sign in or register to get started.
