Legacy editor Templates stopped working

Question

I can no longer use a template that is in Legacy (not Convertet) to create a page. It t does not work. I click the button to create a page from the Template and I get the template open and a button on the bottom with Next but nothing happens.

I did the test with other templates already converted and there were no issues.

I could convert this template but that is also not possible as when clicking Convert for this specific template I get an error that the action was not possible to find.

Any Ideas?

Actually when you open a page, you have the spiral and you hit F5 (refresh) and give it a couple of seconds then the page loads

In the official post from Atlassian it says the following:
We are announcing the deprecation of the legacy editor in Confluence Cloud, with full deprecation planned for April 2026.

And even if they would phase it out early, they would normally implement a warning or force you to upgrade a template when you click edit and not still give you the option to allow using the legacy editor and then the page ends up with a spiral of death. For me it looks like a bug

Based on what I know, issues with legacy templates not functioning might be due to recent updates in Confluence.

If converting the template results in an error, ensure your instance is up-to-date and check for plugin compatibility that might be affecting the legacy editor.
