Ability to log date the last comment was made

Does anyone know where the date of the last comment is stored and can be used to query in the issue navigator? There is a field that can be added to the screen that is date of first response.  But, it would really be helpful to be able to see and report on date of last response.

It is stored in the jiraaction table. If you want to report on it, you will need a custom field that stores this field but I guess you won't be able to do this on onDemand!
