Audit Log slow to populate

Question

I have a new automation rule that I am working on testing but the audit log for the automation is extremely slow to populate. The automation itself works fast but the audit log does not. For example, I made a config change and ran a test at 9:28 am EST but was unable to see the config and run in the audit log until 9:32 am EST.

Yes, and...I observed this slowness myself and saw other community reports of it yesterday.  I wonder if it is related to the new validation of rules feature which is rolling out this week:

Hi @Paul Vandenberk ,

The same happens here, very slow performance. We trigger an issue and a few minutes later it is executed/shown in the audit log. So I think it is an Atlassian issue. You can report it here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
