Need to re-authenticate every 15 minutes

Hi all,

Jira is asking me to re-authenticate every 15 minutes... I hardly have any time to write a message. If I do not save quickly enough, I get the following error:

After refresh I need to reauthenticate using a (mail) verification code...

Anything I can do in my account, or is this something the admins need to fix?

Welcome to the community.

I would suggest checking with the Atlassian Guard administrator in your organization to see if they have configured a 15-minute for the idle session.

It can be updated via the settings as documented below:
