Setting up approvers for a data flow based on the reporter

Hello,

I have a JIRA workflow, which contains 2 levels of validation. I would like to set it according to the reporter.

Example:

if the reporter = A, the flow must be approved by X.

if the reporter = B, the flow must be approved by Y.

Is there a way to do this ?

Thanks for replying.

Unfortunately, we don't have Assets or Organizational chart.

I was wondering if it's possibly done either with automation or some condition to set up at on the transition in the workflow.

Do you have Assets? This would be a good way to store this basically org chart type data and to leverage the relationships between the different members of staff. Is this a possibility?

Thanks for you answer.

Let's suppose it's a workflow with 4 status:

1- Opened

2-Approved By Manager

3- Approved By Director

4- Closed.

If the issue reporter is person X, the manager and director would be Marketing Manager and Marketing Director.

If the issue reporter is person Y, the manager and director would be HR Manager and HR Director.
