Status change

Question

Hi,

I wonder if there is a solution without using project automation for this:

Scenario:

* Parent issue has two types of sub-tasks (A and B)
* If all sub-tasks of type A are done parent issue is supposed to transition from status X to Z

Any advice for me out there?

thank you for response.
I tried with JMWE first. But my mistake has been that I looked under conditions and not post functions.

Anyway I would need some help with this.
I made some screenshots and questions in the attachment.

As there is no way for doing this natively and you prefer not to use automation,  there are still options through plugins, specifically:

* Scriptrunner for Jira Cloud -> Workflow post function: Transition Parent Issue
* Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE) > Transition parent issue

This can only be done with automation.

Or you need to look at marketplace apps that offer workflow extension options
