Modification of miles stone in JIRA Board

Question

I have set up a TEST project -with miles stone step-1, step-2, step-3 , step-4 .but I deleted step 5 and step 6 , When I have created new miles stone , it is starting fm step-7 and step 8 and not for step-5 and step-6 . How to correct it ? Can anyone come to join 30min call dedicated to understand JIRA project management settings ?

We are a community of users of our own Jira instances. Generally speaking we don't provide live interactive support, though some individuals may respond that they are willing to do so.

Can you provide a screen image that illustrates what you mean by having created milestones and then deleted some of them? I don't think I understand what you mean. A screen image may clarify your meaning.
