How can I get new blog posts posted to Microsoft Teams?

Question

I'd like to start using blogs as a way of sharing interesting new things with our wider team.

My ideal is when someone posts a blog to our "DevOps" space, a post appears on the "DevOps>General" channel in MS Teams with a blurb and a link to the blog post.

Problems I've run into so far:

* The Confluence app in MS Teams allows you to subscribe to changes in a page, but doesn't seem to allow to subscribe to changes in a blog directory for a space
* I thought I could do something with RSS feeds (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/subscribe-to-pre-specified-rss-feeds/) and powerautomate, but Microsoft's RSS app in powerautomate doesn't seem to be able to handle authenticated RSS feeds like the Confluence "/wiki/spaces/createrssfeed.action" one.

Is there a good way to do this?

Thanks, Aron. Sounds like this would work, but unfortunately my company is only on the Standard plan so we don't have automation. 😞

You can setup Advanced Microsoft Teams Confluence Connector to receive "New blog" notification with a link.

You should be able to build that automation with a plain vanilla Confluence Automation rule.
