I would like to send an automatic notification to the space owner with a message requiring him to confirm that the sapce is up-to-date, should be updated or should be archived.
Is there any option to do this?
Hi @adi.bengaldotan ,
This is not built into Confluence, and I don't know of a simple to use app which has this feature.
@adi.bengaldotan
This might be possible with workflow app
You can review my Community article about workflows on Confluence AND the comments with tips about apps. There are might be non-app options but they would require automation and other features that are Confluence Premium only.
Typically, the debate is about pages being up to date but it should be possible to devise a workflow that combines the pages' data into smth that gives you info on the space level.
The Better Content Archiving app can send custom notifications to space administrators (among other recipients):
As the primary use case is to track if the content in spaces is current and valid, I encourage you to give it a try.
(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
Hi @adi.bengaldotan
Your use case sounds like a good fit for Breeze.
It can create reports on pages that are no longer up-to-date and notify page and space owners to take action. Overall, it's a full-fledged document management solution that is easy to set up and use yet powerful for many different scenarios.
If you like, you can schedule a personal demo with me to see its features and how it works.
Cheers, and all the best,Adrian from B1NARY (we are the developers of Breeze)
