Trying to copy issues in a simple way to share in a channel i slack

Question

I want to be able to do a JQL filtering and then copy the issues it came back with in a easy format straight into slack. so that all issues end up in a bullet point format with a link to open the issue. any support here ?

The format when i copy it over is just really hard, even if i remove all collumns except for summary.

Thanks Bill for the answer, I am looking for more of an ad-hoc solution. usually its 5-15 issue from the same project so its more like "these issues need to be estimated" message. so it feels like an automation is overkill for that just want to copy paste to markdown.

How many issues are returned by that JQL filter, and in how many projects: one or several?

If there are fewer than 100 issues, you could try using a Jira Automation rule, gathering the issues with the Lookup Issues action, selecting the content to send, and then posting in Slack with the rule.
